Why aren’t you where you want to be?

Really think about this.

It’s in your best interest to sit down today, and write out every reason you have not achieved your health and fitness goals up to this point, so you can accurately identify where you need to put your focus as you move forward.

This is how you get out of your own way.

We all have blind spots, and it takes deep and careful introspection to find the root cause of our limitations. Most people won’t bother to do the work, not realizing this simple task can set them free.

If you don’t know why you haven’t been able to reach your goals up to this point, how can you change anything?

The answer is, you can’t.

The purpose of this exercise is not to punish yourself with negative self-talk, it’s to shed light on what’s holding you back. To remove the obstacles that are keeping you from what you really want, and to orient action toward what you do want.

You’re worth it.

REMEMBER: If you argue for your limitations, you get to keep them all. Your excuses are nothing more than self-imposed shackles holding you back from what you say you want. Now, get to work.
