One reason people fail to achieve their fat loss goal is because they quit prematurely.

If you have more than 30 LB of body fat to lose, it’s realistic to give yourself at least 6 months to change the behaviors that don’t serve you, and adopt healthier habits around food and exercise.

If you have more than 30 LB of body fat to lose, give yourself at least 12 months to achieve your goal.

What’s the rush? The time will pass anyway.

These are realistic timeframes to learn how to make permanent changes in your life so you don’t re-gain the weight you worked so hard to lose.

If you’ve been yo-yo dieting for years, jumping around to different programs and fad diets, and you’re still not where you want to be, I invite you to relieve yourself of the quick fix delusion and invest in your education now.

🥗 Take the time to learn about macronutrients (protein, carbs and fat) and understand how to stay in a caloric deficit until you reach your goal(s).

There is a process involved here, and it doesn’t deliver overnight results.

🔹The most successful people accept that they will be bored from time to time, and they will face many challenges along the way.

🔹If something isn’t working after a realistic timeframe, they strive to learn even more and tweak the plan until the desired outcome is attained.

You know what successful people don’t do?

Quit.

🤫 That’s the secret to success in anything meaningful in life. Those who “fail” are simply those who give up before reaching their goal.

So, stop quitting on yourself.

🔹Stop mistakenly believing you should get amazing results in a matter of weeks when it took years to gain the body fat you want to lose.

🔹Practice patience and self-compassion. Slow down and simplify your life. Find supportive, like-minded people who will hold you up on your hardest days.

👉🏻 Most importantly, believe in yourself.  You got this.
