Get CRYSTAL clear about what you want. Write it all down, be as detailed as possible and set deadlines.

Connect with your WHY. This is your fuel. If you’re not sure why you want to lose 20 LB in 3 months, it’s going to be difficult to push through the hard days. Why do you want this?

Formulate a plan. Include specific information about your workouts and nutrition so you’re not doing random nonsense in the gym. Write it down. Stick to your plan.

Be patient. Change takes time. In many cases, it will take months or even years to see real change in your body. If you can accept this and enjoy the process along the way, you’re going to accomplish every goal you set for yourself. 

Commit to learning. Whether you’re working with a fitness coach or doing your own thing; read, listen to podcasts and experiment. Write things down so you have information to reflect on.
